Ms. 演出newton works as a FX Options Pricer at GFI Securities. We asked her about her job and motivation to obtain an mba.
你目前的工作是做什么?
I am currently in charge of pricing vanilla and exotic currency options trading through our tokyo, singapore, 和悉尼经纪部门. I also manage global communications for the tokyo desk.

I began this program without a specific idea of how my career would benefit from having an mba. I do know that education is always advantageous, more so when it is undertaken without an expectation of monetary reward.

My dreams and aspirations are my own. I do know that I will always be a dedicated student in some capacity, and I will always do my utmost to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

仕事の内容を簡単に教えてください。
東京・シンガポール・シドニーのブローカレッジデスクを通した、通常の通貨オプションおよび条件付通貨オプション取引の値決めを担当しています。東京デスクでのグロ，バルコミュニケ，ションも管轄しています。
mbaを取得しようと思った理由はなんでしょう？
両親から「教育」の持つすばらしい価値について教え込まれてきたので、ずっと前から修士号をとりたいと思っていました。テンプルを選んだのは、東京で受けられるmba教育の中でベストオプションであることに間違いないと思ったからです。
勉強中いばん大変だったことは？
仕事と勉強の両立，オンとオフのバランスをとること。これはもう信じられないくらい難しかったですね。

適切なバランスのとり方というのは、そのとき受講しているコースの内容によって違いました。文献の読み込みや宿題が多いコースのときは、勉強に費やす時間が必然的に増えますし、逆にクラスでの討論が中心のコースをとっているときは、平日はもう少し仕事中心にする、などです。長期的に見て、自分にとってなにがベストかを考えることで、両立の方法も変わってきました。
mbaを取得したことが今後のキャリアにどう活かせると思いますか？
このプログラムを受講し始めたとき、学位をとったら自分のキャリアにどう活かすか、特に具体的に考えていたわけではありません。ひとつ言えることは、教育を受けるということは常に有益なことだということ。そして金銭的な見返りを期待しないときにこそ、もっと有益になるということです。
人生の夢をお聞かせくださいますか？
それは自分の中に秘めておきたいと思いますけれども、これからもどんな形であれ、真摯に学び続けていきたいと思います。そして、ビジネスの倫理や文化の水準を高め、市民生活においても商取引においても社会の繁栄に寄与するべく、ベストを尽くしていきます。
